Andy Bichlbaum y Mike Bonanno son THE YES MEN, dos activistas DIVERTIDISIMOS que se dedican a denunciar las tropelías cometidas por grandes corporaciones ayudando así a tomar conciencia de lo que éstas están haciendo. Crean webs falsas y esperan que les inviten a conferencias “importantes”
Se hacen pasar por portavoces de Dow Chemical para denunciar que las víctimas del desastre de Bophal en el 1984 todavía esperan las prometidas indemnizaciones. En otra ocasión adoptan la identidad de gobernantes en Nueva Orleans para denunciar las irregularidades gubernamentales, como la pretensión de derrumbar casas en perfecto estado y así hacer más negocio. E incluso en otro congreso hacen ver que promueven la venta de unos artilugios protectores de radiaciones, inundaciones, y un sinfín más de situaciones que salvarían la vida de los que los puedan costear, frente a “hombres de negocio” que además se lo creen.
Un estilo realmente cómico, divertido, ingenioso y creativo. Informales y graciosísimos, pero se toman muy en serio lo que hacen. ¿A quién no le gustaría que su edición falsa del The New York Times, llena de buenas noticias para el mundo, fuera la real?

Andy Bichlbaum and Mike Bonanno are THE YES MEN, two FUNNY activists who denounce the outrages committed by large corporations helping to realize what they are doing. They create fake websites and wait until they are invited to "important" conferences.
They pose as spokesmen for Dow Chemical to report that the victims of the Bhopal disaster in 1984 are still waiting for the promised compensation. On another occasion they adopt the identity of New Orleans government to denounce irregularities, such as wanting to crash houses in perfect condition to do more business. And even make you look at another conference to “businessmen” to promote the sale of radiation protective devices, floods, and a lot more situations that could save the lives of those who can afford it, who also believe it was true.
A style really funny, witty and creative. Informal and entertaining, although they take very seriously what they do.
Who would not like that the fake edition of The New York Times, full of good news for the world was the real one?
