Cuando preguntas quién descubrió la electricidad, todas las personas responden. Pero...¿por qué al preguntar quién descubrió la corriente alterna, muy pocas saben la respuesta?
¿No deberíamos recordarlo cada vez que encendemos un interruptor de la luz o incluso ponemos una lavadora?
Nikola Tesla, nació en croacia el 10 de Julio de 1856. Emigra a los estados Unidos y en 1886 empieza a trabajar con Thomas Alva Edison, con quien no hubo muy buena relación. Desde entonces Edison procuró desacreditar y boicotear a Tesla.
Los inventos de Tesla son más de 700, de entre los cuales están: la transmisión inalámbrica, el motor de inducción de corriente alterna, el neón, transformadores, dispositivos de resonancia energética, el laser, los rayos X, armas espaciales e incluso la radio, que fue atribuída a Marconi por mala gestión de la oficina de patentes.
Destaca la bobina Tesla, con la que pretendía incrementar el voltaje de la corriente alterna para poder distribuirla inalámbricamente hacia la ionosfera o a través de la propia tierra y así hacer que ésta fuera LIBRE Y GRATUITA. Esta parte altruista, que le llevó a rechazar un Premio Nobel en 1915, fue, desgraciadamente para todos, su ruina y de paso también la nuestra. Su trabajo fue aprovechado por muchos otros que generaron fortunas mientras que él acabó sus días solo, pobre y sin reconocimiento alguno. Curioso también el hecho que el Gobierno Americano confiscara sus documentos a su muerte...para pensar un ratito.
Nikola Tesla fué un personaje extraño, amigo de personas muy influyentes, pero también lleno de raras manías. Declaraba en ocasiones que sus inventos aparecían como imágenes en su mente, dictados por extraterrestres de civilizaciones más adelantadas.
Los descubrimientos de Tesla fueron muy avanzados a su época, avanzados y rechazados, aunque ya se sabe... a veces a los genios se les considera locos. Vale la pena ponerse al día con este tema y de paso difundirlos, por si por ahí hay algún otro genio que pueda inspirarse en los inventos de Tesla y crear algunos nuevos... esperemos que no se lo pongan tan dificil como a él y no acabemos olvidando su nombre.
