THE HOLOGRAPHIC UNIVERSE (MICHAEL TALBOT)

THE HOLOGRAPHIC UNIVERSE is a book written by Michael Talbot in 1991.

In 1982 at the University of Paris a research team discovered that, under certain circumstances, subatomic particles instantaneously communicate with each other regardless of the distance separating them. The problem with this is that it violates Einstein's theory that nothing can move faster than light speed.

University of London physicist David Bohm, says that these findings imply that objective reality does not exist, that despite its apparent solidity the universe is a gigantic hologram.  A hologram is a three-dimensional photograph made with the aid of a laser, and wat is also important is that every part of a hologram contains all the informations possessed by the whole. Called also fractality.

Maybe the reason why subatomic particles are able to remain in contact with one another despite of the distance separating them is not because they are sending some sort of mysterious signal, but because their separateness is only an illusion.  

Stanford neurophysiologist Karl Pribram, one of the architects of our modern understanding of the brain, also believes that the universe may be a giant hologram.

 

The interview to Michael Talbot I'm sharing today shows these concepts, specially how a hologram works. Really interesting how the new science experiments discover new ways of understanding the universe we live in. Does Objective Reality exist?
